Issue in Availablity Control...

Dear Experts,

            I have a project having 15 WBS elements in that ..I dont want  to check available Control for 3 WBS elements...For this i have created one user status ZAVAC ..Eventhough its not working properly...

Can anybody please guide how to resolve this.....

Hello Suma,

The only way to exclude the posting from availability control is via Exempt Cost element. This is done via transaction OPTK. You may see SAP note 178837 for further information on how the AVAC is checked.

Hi Suma,

What I can understand from your post that system will allow to post more that the allocated budget for particular 3 WBSEs. If this is the case then check whether user status is active in the WBS and in that user status ZAVAC business transaction "Availability control" is forbidden and the user status should be active at the time of posting.
