Hi,
Is it possible to delete a PO if subsequent GR / IR document is present in PO?
I know it can't be done. But we have a case it actually has happened
I know it sounds funny but any idea even vague also is welcome.
Thanks

Hi
You cannot delete a PO line item if there are any differences in GR & IR clearing in terms of quantity.
If there is any value variation then I hope you can delete line item though there are subsequent documents posted on it. Check that PO if there is any account maintenance document posted before deletion.
Thanks

It is not Possible to Delete Purchase Order line Items if any Incomplete Subsequent document exists.
If Subsequent Documents are Completed ie : GR and IR matches then there may be a chance to Delete line items.
Instead you Can Lock the Po Line items for your requirement. Once you lock system will not allow to process further.

First of all u can not delet PO u can mark line items of PO for deletion
u can mark line items for deletion thought there is subsequent GR / IR document is present in PO.
But if u do this then when u try t reverse the GR/IR, it wll give you error msg
It is advisable to first clear all subsequent document and then mark LINE ITEMS FOR DELETION

Hi,
If some one has access to change table entry, then deletion indicator can be set for PO line item.
But normally on production system, this authorization is not given to any one. You can try it on our test system with help of ABAPer.
