Is it possible to chnge the Valid from date of the BOM?

If NO then what could be done to chnge the valid from date of the BOM?

Hi,

You can not change the valid from date to BOM.

You have to implement Engineering Change Management to apply this.

Hi Chetan,

If you want to change the BOM date then create a new Alitenative with the date new date 01.01.1900.

(you can do this by changing the date to 01.01.1900 at the time of 2nd Alternative creation)

You can use this second alternative in your subsequest steps.

Hi,

Regarding ECM you can refer old threads.

Without ECM, you can create one alternate BOM with valid date from 01.01.1900

Hi Chetan,

It is not possible to change the valid from date of the BOM.

If you use ECM and implement Revision Level, Based on the Revision Level you can have the diffrent BOM valid from dates effective.
