Inventory management

Is it possible to have bin to bin management at an IM managed location (not WM).

I have a material that leave the storage room and gets out into bins in the production area.

Is there a way to manage that IM (inventory managed) level. I donot want to implement WM.

How can i track that flow? Any strategies? Simple lean?

alternative you can create for each of your bins a seperate storage location.

Hi,

You cannot use "bin-to-bin" management in IM only in WM. The "storage bin" field used in General plant data view of material master cannot serve this porpose, it's just a text field that appeares in certain reports.

Only one bin is allowed for one material per SLoc.

So, you have to implement WM if you want to realize goods movement within your SLoc.
