Hi experts,

I am having on a station an error “Internal error (-1102)
occurred Message [131-183]

When trying to log on SAP, on a new XP station where I have
installed B1 Client

When the firewall is off, I can access the companies and log
in, when the firewall is on, I cannot log in the companies,

I can see the companies tough since I have opened ports
30000, 30001, 30002, 1433, 1434, 1435 but cannot login.

Any idea?

Thanks

Hi,

If you are using windows server 2008, you must set inbound and outbound rules of firewall for all SBO ports.

You can try to apply this sap note solution:

1051254 - Firewall/Antivirus Blocking SAP Business One Components
Version 1 Validity: 29.04.2007 - active
Language English

Content:    Summary   |   Header Data   |   Validity

Symptom

SAP Business One Mailer and/or SDK and/or Integration Platform (B1i) may do not work.

Cause

Operating system, firewall, and antivirus programs may block ODBC/SMTP/HTTP/COM protocols and cause SAP Business One components that use these protocols to fail.
For example, Mailer service uses SMTP; B1i uses HTTP; SDK uses COM.

Solution

Make sure that your operating system and/or firewall/antivirus program does not block any of these protocols.

Other terms

ODBC, HTTP, COM, SMTP

Thank you Gordon and Jimmy,

There were some additionnal ports that has to be opened. By running the batch file below that fixed my issue:

@echo =========  SQL Server Ports  ===================

@echo Enabling SQLServer default instance port 1433

netsh firewall set portopening TCP 1433 "SQLServer"

@echo Enabling Dedicated Admin Connection port 1434

netsh firewall set portopening TCP 1434 "SQL Admin Connection"

@echo Enabling conventional SQL Server Service Broker port 4022

netsh firewall set portopening TCP 4022 "SQL Service Broker"

@echo Enabling Transact-SQL Debugger/RPC port 135

netsh firewall set portopening TCP 135 "SQL Debugger/RPC"

@echo =========  Analysis Services Ports  ==============

@echo Enabling SSAS Default Instance port 2383

netsh firewall set portopening TCP 2383 "Analysis Services"

@echo Enabling SQL Server Browser Service port 2382

netsh firewall set portopening TCP 2382 "SQL Browser"

@echo =========  Misc Applications  ==============

@echo Enabling HTTP port 80

netsh firewall set portopening TCP 80 "HTTP"

@echo Enabling SSL port 443

netsh firewall set portopening TCP 443 "SSL"

@echo Enabling port for SQL Server Browser Service's 'Browse' Button

netsh firewall set portopening UDP 1434 "SQL Browser"

@echo Allowing multicast broadcast response on UDP (Browser Service Enumerations OK)

New version need open more port for B1 to work. Check firewall log to see which ports have been blocked.

However, 2005 may not be good for 8.82.  Better upgrade to 2008 R2.
