Intercompany reconciliation in Group Reporting and ICMR

I am trying to understand the target application for the intercompany reconciliation going forward. Will the capabilities from live package reconciliation from SAP FC also be part of SAP Group Reporting? or is the target application for the intercompany reconciliation process to use ICMR going forward?
