Integrated FI-GR not releasing data into Group Reporting when Journal Release is executed.

Dear Experts,

I have a confusing problem with FI-GR integration.
We have set up preparation ledger(0L), assigned same FYV in GR as we have in FI and configured the version. We have mapped all relevant  FSI and CUs as well. However, when I try to run Journal Release, it only gave warning and no data is released. Here are the observed sys behaviours:

  1. When Journal Release is executed for CUs with existing FI data, no data is released and only a warning is given as shown below.
    GR Warning 1.jpg
  2. When FI data is uploaded into a company code via DMC, Journal release for the corresponding CU in GR does not import any data as well. It only gives same warning message.
  3. When fresh journal entries are made in FI, journal release for the corresponding CU run successfully.
  4. I also observed that the GR fields are not shown when I view posted journals via Manage Journal Entries app:

At this point, I am completely lost on what else to do. I appreciate all the help I can get.

Thanks & Regards,
Seyi.

Data Release behavior differs based on whether the GRPL is activated for the posting period of the journals uploaded in ACDOCA.
If GRPL is activated for 2024 and onwards, and you upload journals with posting fiscal year = 2024, then you need to check whether GRPL derivation works for those journals, especially FSI and CU. If no, you need to verify your FSI / GL mapping excel and CU definition or GRPL substitution rules which overwrite the default derivation logic. Then run the realignment job to make sure that GR derivation reflected with those journals and try data release via data monitor which is on delta mode by default.

Thank you for the quick and detailed response. We have established that the GR fields are populated for records loaded recently. Although GRPL was activated over a month ago, the reason why the fields are populating for recent records remain unknown. We will run the realignment job to correct this as you suggested. However the problem now is that journal release tasks that seem to execute successfully, with the log showing the number of records loaded, are not reflecting on the ACDOCU table.Any pointers on this?
