Installing SAP Business One 10 on SLES 15 SP2

Hello, experts:

I'm trying to install SAP 10 for HANA 2.0. I downloaded the guide "How to install SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP2 for SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA", document version 1.0.0 - 2020-11-10.

I downloaded the SLES 15 SP2 for SAP Business One .iso from a link in the document and installed as the document says. I didn't register the copy of SUSE because it never was mandatory and I don't need updates for now. Then I told to the installer I don't want to install anything more.

Then, I went to my SAP download page and got SAP HANA 2.0 Enterprise E. for B1 rev.50 (51054611), unzipped it in an empty folder (I created /usr/sap10 folder), and started the SAP installation wizard. I selected the folder where the files were and it started the installation configuration. After a while, I said I don't want to install 3rd party software, nor more SAP products (I want to install SAP 10 after HANA).

Then, a message popped up: "cannot install, HANA component folders missing on media:"

• HANA_IM_LINUX__X86_64
• HDB_CLIENT_LINUX_X86_64
• HDB_SERVER_LINUX_X86_64
• SAP_HOST_AGENT_LINUX_X64
• HDB_AFL_LINUX_X86_64
• HDB_CLIENT_LINUXINTEL

As said in the manual, none of those components are in the HANA 2.0 package, and it looks like neither in the SLES installation disk image. I can't go further so I can't install HANA nor SAP, and I tried it several times with different packages (even SAP HANA 2.0 rev.45, and others SUSE 15 image disks) but I can't install it.

Also, the suggested log folders have no files (/var/tmp) or have empty log files (/var/adm/autoinstall/logs), so no more information is avaiable

What did I miss? Do I need to purchase a SUSE license now in order to install SAP B1 10 with HANA 2.0? Is there an offline image with those mandatory packages?

Hi,

In the SAP Software Downloads, please download the HANA 2.0 ENTERPRISE E. FOR B1 package from:

SAP BUSINESS ONE INSTALLATIONS/ SAP B1 VERSION FOR SAP HANA/ SAP B1 10.0 FOR SAP HANA/ HANA 2.0 ENTERPRISE E. FOR B1/ INSTALLATION

This package should contain all the components required.

That's the SAP HANA 51054611 package I was talking about on the 3rd paragraph. Also, I tried with the rev45 (51054431) with the same results.

Both packages only contains:

1. SAP HANA AFL 1.0 FOR B1
2. SAP HANA CLIENT 1.0 FOR B1
3. SAP HANA DATABASE 1.0 FOR B1
4. SAP HANA STUDIO 1.0 FOR B1

I don't know if it's an upgrade package, or if I need to install something before.

So... there is no way of installing SLES 15 SP2 for SAP Business One and SAP HANA 2.0 ENTERPRISE E. FOR B1 package?

Also, I tried with "SAP HANA Platform Edition 2.0 SPS03 revXX Linux x86_64", where revXX is from rev33 to rev52, and the only error I can see (because logs are empty) is:

"+ ./hdblcm --batch --action=install --ignore=check_signature_file --components=all --sid=NDB --number=00 --groupid=79 --read_password_from_stdin=xml -configfile=/data/SAP_INST/0/hana_mdc.conf /usr/lib/YaST2/bin/hana_inst.sh: line 419: ./hdblcm: No such file or directory".

Is there a video for the complete process, from start to finish, avaiable? I'm sure something is missing.
