Infy 21(Family Member) screens for Singapore are different in R3 and on ESS

Hi experts

We just upgraded to ECC 6.0 and have implemented SAP HR for Singapore.

Our issue is that the infotype screens are different in R/3 and on portal. On ESS for Family member/Dependent section, we have 4 blocks on each subtype. This is standard ESS screen for Singapore ( EMPLOYEE_FAMMEMBER_SG_SERVICE).

1. Family member Data

2. Id Information

3. Address

4. Employer Information.

But, we don't have the same screeen in the back end. Please help me with the steps how to achieve that.

Currently, IT 21 screen is assigned to Module pool MP02100, standard screen 2000.

How to get Id block and address block on the infotype screen?

Thank you,

Jaya Kulkarni

Are you checking the SAP and Portal screens for same personnel number? Because IT0021 screen changes depending on the employee's country. We had similar issue where one employee belongs to Singapore and another belongs to US.

Thanks,

Swapna.

Thanks for your reply Swapna.

Yes, I am checking portal and R/3 for the same person belonging to Singapore.

We have the correct ESS service for Infy 021 data on portal, but the Infotype screen is different in R/3.

I am trying to get Singapore specific screens in R/3.

Jaya

Hi Jaya,

Can you please open IT0021 and check in System>Status (top right) corner what screen number you have?

Thanks

Hi Jaya,

In table V_T582V you have to check that subscreen is specified for molga 25, IT0021. Just paste following record if it's not there:

VInd IType Infotype text View Program Screen Dialog module

25 0021 Family Member/Dependents V412 MP041200 0100

Normally all what you have done so far to set up IT0021 for SG should be deilvered by default...

Cheers

Should there be an entry in table V_T582V (Assignment of Infotypes to Views) for country Singapore (VIND 25)? I don't see one there for SG.

When I entered a record there, it is ending up in ABAP short dump when I try to either overiview/open the record in PA20/PA30.

I tried entering the record below.

VInd IType Inotype text View Program screen

25 0021 Family member/Dependents V412 MP041200 0100

Thanks for you help,

Jaya

HI Semviadigo,

Thank you again.

When I add the record you mentioned about in table V_T582V, PA20/PA30 ends up in ABAP dump.

Runtime error: Uncaught_exception

Exception: CX_HRPA_INVALID_INFOTYPE_DB

Hi Semviadigo,

We already have these two entries in table V_T582W.

This is really so puzzling. Truly appreciate you helping me out here.

Thank you Semviadigo. Rewarded full points for great help.

Hi Jaya,

In Singapore you have to use screen number 2025 with all country specific information.

You have to check feature P0021 and find out which screen variant is used for your organization (mormally it should be 25, but can be different). Then check table T588M for module pool MP002100 - there you have to pick variable key as per configuration of feature P0021. Then you should check if field "Alternative Screen" contains value 2025.

Hi Semviadigo,

Thank you for your reply.

I created another entry in table T588M for Singapore (variable key 25 with alternate screen 2025). It did not still bring up Address block and ID block on the infotype screen.

What else needs to be done?

I read in forum link that address info is being called from module pool MP041200, which seems to be missing in table T588M.

Is there any specific infotype view that should assigned to IT 21?

Can anyone through some light on this?

Thanks you and appreciate any help resolve the issue.

Hi Jaya,

You almost found the solution. Now you should add records for IT0412 (subscreen of IT0021 for SG).

Normally it should look like that in T588M:

MP041200 0100 P0412 0 0

MP041200 0100 1 0 0

MP041200 0100 2 0 0

MP041200 0100 3 0 0

MP041200 0100 4 0 0

Then also check feature P0412:

000010 D SUBTY(1)

000020 1 &P0412=1,

000030 2 &P0412=2,

000040 3 &P0412=3,

000050 * &P0412=4,

Hi Semviadigo,

So truly appreciate you helping me out here.

I did create a record in table T588m for

MP041200 0100 P0412 0 0

Now I see diferent blocks on the infotype screen control. No change yet on r/# screen via pa20/pa30.

Mod Pool Screen Feature Variable key Alt Screen Next Screen

MP041200 0100 0412 0 0

Not sure how to create the rest of the records you mentioned.

MP041200 0100 1 0 0

MP041200 0100 2 0 0

MP041200 0100 3 0 0

MP041200 0100 4 0 0

Feature 0412 looks ok for all subtypes .

Also, is there a specific infotype view that need to assign to Infotype 21?

Thanks for all the help.

Hi Jaya,

These lines you need to have control over subtypes appearance in IT0021:

MP041200 0100 1 0 0

MP041200 0100 2 0 0

MP041200 0100 3 0 0

MP041200 0100 4 0 0

As long as you have in feature P0412 variables 1,2,3,4 for subtypes you should create respective screen variants. Otherwise system doesn't right screen variant and doesn't show right layout in PA20/30.

Just copy line MP041200 0100 P0412 0 0 and change variable key to 1,2,3,4.

Once it's done you should be able to see IT0021 screen for Singapore via PA20/30.

Hi Semviadigo,

Thank you for explaining the steps. That was very helpful. Did create the variants for subtypes.

But, IT21 screen did not change. I guess there is something else missing. Is it something to do witn the Infotype view or something?

I can't appreciate your help enoough. Thank you.

Hi,

Can anyone help me link Infotype 21 screen for Singapore to additional screen (Module pool program MP041200 and screen # 100) for Child details and address blocks?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jaya,

I believed that the problem is solved for you...

Have you configured everything as stated above? Have you activated features P0021 and P0412?

Cheers

Hi Semviadigo,

Thank you for coming back.

Here is what I have done so far.

Created an entry in T588M for variable key 25 with alternative screen 2025.

1. MP002100 2000 P0021 25 2025 0

Please tell me if I need to put feature P0021 in the above record or not. I believe not, looking at the other records for other infotypes.

2. Then I created records for MP041200 as below.

MP041200 0100 P0412 0 0

MP041200 0100 1 0 0

MP041200 0100 2 0 0

MP041200 0100 3 0 0

MP041200 0100 4 0 0

Checked feature P0412: It is ab below.

000010 D SUBTY(1)

000020 1 &P0412=1,

000030 2 &P0412=2,

000040 3 &P0412=3,

000050 * &P0412=4,

Made sure that features P0021 and P0412 are activated. They are active.

Still I don't see the change in the screen for infotype 0021 for Singapore in PA20/PA30. I did check screen 100 for program MP041200, looks good, I see all the required blocks there. Just missing the linking between screen 2025 and screen 100 for 412.

Greatly appreciate your help. I know I am almost there.

Thanking you again,

Jaya
