Hi,

These two tables are use to accumulate data that is then use in PM Information System reporting:

Relevant part of SAP Help is [here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/8c/fd586fa94711d1890a0000e8322f70/frameset.htm]

If you are just activating these reports, see note [112841|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/112841] on how to build the info structure from existing data. Note [491519|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/491519] shows which structure is used for which PM-IS report transaction (Application 07).

Dear Paul,

Thanks a lot for the information and the link provided.

One more clarification what is the use of the transaction OMOS?

If i give the period split as day and Asynchronous updating, how these reporting will be updated?

Senthl,

Asynchronous update (V2) is the most common and is recommended.

DAY is not a suitable period unit for structures with cost values such as S061 or S062. All cost related data is updated based on the first day of the costing period - see note [180047|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/180047]. Use period Month or Fiscal Year Variant - more details in the note.

This is also mentioned in [SAP Help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/8c/fd586fa94711d1890a0000e8322f70/frameset.htm]

The information structures S061, S062, S063, S070, and S114 are updated on a monthly basis in the Plant Maintenance Information System. The information structure S065 (Object statistics) does not have a period unit. The period unit of updating for the information structures which contain the cost key figures should not be changed.
