Dear All,
I have a Sales Order created and in the Requirements Type settings I've chosen "Sales From Stock" and "Requirements not planned but displayed".
Example: SO quantity 30 TON
MD61 (Demand Management). I've created requiredments for 30 TON
Now, once I run MRP it creates a PLND Order for the IndReq and doesn't do anything for the CustReq which is what I want. However, once I finish the production order and do a delivery to the Sales Order, the IndReq continues to be there and the Stock is 0, I run MRP again it generates another Planned Order.
How can the Customer Requirements Consume from the Independant Requirements?
Request clarification before answering.
Is there anything wrong that I do with the outbound delivery?
VL01 I don't find the current stock, unless I go back to the order and do availability check again

Hi Rafik,
Isn't it possible that the PIR is deifined on 25.11.2008 similarly to your SO and you do the GI right now? In this case your PIR would be consumed only if your settings in material master are proper (I mean consumption period).

It's just an idea.

Dear Rafik,
ckeck in OMPO for req class 100 planning indicator(1st column) 1 is maintained and for last column req category 1 is maintained and in between all other column should be blank. if this ok then go to
spro-->production-.prod planning->demand management->PIR->planning statergy-> define statergy.
see here details for 10 in req type for independent req, req type LSF and req class 100 and consumption is blank and planning indicator 1 is present
in the same screen req type for customer req.
reqtype KSL, req class 030 and no MRP 1 and all other boxes blank and right side three check boxes availbilty check, req transfer and req reduction should cheked
after this get back me

can u tell what is period split in MD61? weekly /daily/monthly. if it si monthly split the plan to weekly.
sree
Dear Sree,
Here's what I've done.
Material Strategy Group is 10
Requirements Class is identical to what is in IDES.
I currently have 0 stock of this material.
Created a Sales Order: Delivery Date 25.11.2008
MD61 Created a Requirement of 30.
MD02 run MRP....
Converted planed ord to production order and GI to inventory.
Outbound delivery to SO
MD04... Stock 0 and IndReq still 30.
