Incompletion Log Doesnt show up Missing Storage Location

Hi,

Incompletion procedure has been set for item category ZTAN and in it LGORT ( Stoage Location ) is mandatory.

But in a sales order in production system for one particular line item , the storage location is blank and it is not showing up in the incompletion Log.

Any ideas??

Is the item category correct ZTAN? Is there other errors?

Is the issue with one line item ? then they might have set the wrong shipping conditions in OVL2 for this line item material.

Might this is a wierd question :: Since plant have number of storage locations, means storage location should be assign to plant. check if the assignation exists. And in this case determing a storage location cannot happen , you have to look at copy control in this case. If standard SAP does not do this then u can enhance (ABAP coding change) copy and data transfer routines.

Also check Material Master Data, whether views "Plant data/Stor. 1", "Plant data/Stor. 2" and "Stor. Loc. Stock" exist

Yes LGORT is maintained for sales or der item in OVA2.
