incomplete personal action

hi all

i was performing a personal action and saving the infotypes.

but then i exited from the incomplete personal action.many infotypes were remaiining in that personal action i.e. hiring.

so tell me how can i proceed from the infotype that i have saved last.so that the personal action can be completed.

Dear Nancy

go to PA40 enter pernr select the same action excecute

in next screen you will get a button titled : excecute infogroup in the application bar . press this button , you can skip infotypes already saved & proceed with the action.

or you can manually save each infotype in the infogroup via PA30 for that pernr

when u are doing personla action hiring u have to give the NUmber to that position and assign it

Hi,

To generate the personnel number maintian the following details

Number ranges Tcode PA04 - hereu can define whther the number range shld be Internal (system generate) or external (manual)

NUMKR Feature - PE03

Create the number range intervels and assign the number range number in the feature as the default value for Personnel Area, Employee Group etc as per ur req.

Goto PA40 , select and execute the Hiring action and maintain the infotypes.

Goto PA30 and select the PERNR. Select the IT 0000 and goto change mode. In the top u can find the Execute info group and follow that to complete the incomplete actions.

What is the difference between Execute Infogroup and Change Info Group.

Execute infogroup lets you to execute the infogroup again with a warning.

Change infogrouup allows you change the infotypes in your infogroup temporarily.
