In FBL5N, Identifying diputed line Items

Hi,

I am trying to find out the line items that have cases on dispute management. I changed the layout by adding Disputed Item Column. It gives no indication on the disputed items. I know there are at least two items that have open cases.

1. Am I doing something wrong or FBL5N does not show disputed items by nature?

2. What is the role of the column - Disputed Item?

3. Is there something I need to do to display disputed items?

Your help is highly appreciated.

Regards,

Ved

The normal procedure for adding new fields for display to the line item display in FBL5N is to follow this procedure.

In the Line item Display list in FBL5N follow this menu path: Settings -> Special fields, and add the fields you want from relevant table.

The fields are later available for display, and you can choose them from the Line item Display list following this menu: Settings -> Display variant -> Current. From the hidden list you can now choose the fields you want to have shown. If the technical name is shown for the fields, the special fields are all starting with '1-U_'. It's important, that

you add the Special field, if the field also exist as Standard field. The Special fields are shown in the buttom of the Hiddden list.

But, for having a field shown in the Line Item Display (FBL5N) the field has to exist in the Customer Line Item. If this is not the case, you will evt. be able to see the field in FBL5N by using Offsetting account info.

Hope above information helps you.

Dear Vedratna,

There are some fields that even if have values in line items you cannot see them in the FBL5N Layout.

Try to add this field "Dispute Item" in the special fields table.

List the values in FBL5N go to settings and finally "Special Fields".

Good Luck!
