Hi Experts,
Is there a program or method to import Benefits data from a third party to upload into Benefits Infotypes to be processed through payroll for employee benefits deductions. Currently, the data is imported as a CSV file and the deductions are processed through ADP. There is no data imported to SAP for historical records.
We are getting into Net Payroll implementation going forward. We would like to import Benefits data into Benefits infotypes per employee and process the deductions through SAP.
Appreciate suggestions
Hai..
before uploading the data. make sure the plans, options, program groupings, eligibility, termination conditions etc.. and other config settings exists in ur system !!!

Thanks for your response Ram, but the scenario is different here. We don't want to implement benefits in SAP. Client would like to continue outsourcing benefits even after implementing Net Payroll in SAP. My question is, as we get a CSV file with the benefits data from third party on a weekly basis, how do we import that data into Infotypes to be processed through payroll? Client wants the data to be available in SAP for historical records.
Appreciate your time.
Thanks
Hi
We have the similar situation in our implementation. Client watnts to maintain the benefits master data without implementing benefits module..
We are planning to take the data from the vendors and upload the data to benefit provdies. can anyone help me in understanding the implications ;
Thanks,
Shimal
Base on the question I understand that you would like to process payroll in SAP (take deductions as part of payroll). Enrollment, termination modifications to benefits will be managed by third party.
Option 1: Create wage types for deductions and load the info through interface to infotype 14 & 15.
This option will allow not to configure Benefits module.
Option 2: Configure Benefits module and create custom interfaces to import benefits data to SAP from Benefits providers.
Hope the above helps.
