Dear All,
In the Procurement sceanrio, we places the order on the foregin vendors with document currency other than INR. But if it is the case of Import Procurements then custom is also involved.
For such cases we usually specify the custom duty in condition tab which is reflecting in document currency.
our client want it to be shown in INR as the Custom duties are to be paid to indian custom in INR Only.
is it possible to show it in INR ?
Looking for the positive reply,
Regards
S Anand

You need to maintain exchange rate for document currency in p.o or in exchange rate table - OB08.
While doing customs MIRO,you can change currency to INR.

Hi
What's the currency of your custom duty vendor ? If your currency of custom duty vendor is INR and you maintain the vendor in PO against custom duty condition type then during MIRO you will get the vendor payment currency as INR.

Hi,
What we follow is:
Change the currency in the pricing procedure to INR for the conditions of customs duties as they are not entered in %.
Also in MIRO while posting the commercial invoice, change the currency to INR after taking the T Code MIRO. (first activity in MIRO while posting commercial invoice.)
Thanks

it should be possible to have some condtions in the cocd currency too ( e.g CHA freight etc) . In the case of customs duty, it is a percentage of the import value. if you make it in INR you may not be able to define the customs duty condtitions as a value based percentage condtions.
