Idoc of type HRMD_A infotype 1001 not being created in Update mode.

Hi,

I have an inbound idoc (Operation = U) for a Position (S) which is not updating the relationship. I know why this is but I don't know how to solve it.

The existing hrp1001 records on the target system don't have the value 'AL' in the REASN field. For this reason inbound idocs for infotype 1001 are not updated.

How do I go about solving this? Is there an easy way of entering 'AL' in the relevant Positions? Or, is there a badi that can be used, or some config setting I can do or a system switch that should be activated???

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the REASN field is different in the source system and teh target system, the record is not updated by the ALE, if you send it in Update mode. If you send it in Insert mode (transaction pfal) then everything is overwritten.

The 'AL' means the record is created by ALE iDoc. If everything works normally, the source system has REASN=space, and the target system has REASN= 'AL'
