Hi,

I have installed SAP Content Server 6.40 on Windows 2008 R2 server (64 bit) using IIS 7.5 with MaxDB 7.6:

The installation was completed successfully.

Due to the URL testing information with the following URL http://<servername>:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

brought the error message like "The webpage cannot be found" with HTTP 400 Bad Request.

My settings are as follows

On Content server I give full permission to content Rep directory

On IIS I have allowed Unspecified ISAPI filters and Extensions.

On Web DAVpublishing not installed

Please could anyone give a hint to solve this issue?

Many thanks

Gauguin

Hi Guagin,

For IIS , ensure that you have installed all the components

Secondly please check whether content server website exists and is started in the "Sites" section of IIS.

Hi Gauguin,

Refer Note 1399009 .

Please install the Content Server on Windows Server 2008/R2 with MaxDB 7.6 as Delivered on the compilation DVD. Then update the MaxDB ODBC and to a supported version accordingly.

1) Which are for Windows 2008> or = 7.6.5.12> = 7.7.4.14,

2) For Windows 2008 R2 Which Is MaxDB 7.8. You can Refer note 735598 for the patch upgrade to MaxDB.

You Can Have a look at the two notes below too for the additional information for These releases:

793550 for the upgrade to version 7.6

1004973 for the upgrade to version 7.7

1353266 for the upgrade to version 7.8

Also I could find a thread with similar setup requirement as yours. There is mentioned on Separate installation guide for CS on Windows 2008 R2.
