hr scenario urgent....

Is it possible to perform all HR Actions (Hire, Transfer, Pay Increases, Terminationsu2026..) through a 3rd party software and that this information be loaded into the SAP System to support Time and Attendance inside SAP? means they want Time Management from SAP with that hours and employee list has to go to a 3rd party software, and after the payroll process from 3rd party , data has to load back to SAP.

Yes it is possible.

SAP will store the employee master and all the actions are performed in SAP.

If you do not want to perform all actions it is necessry you need to perform hiring and termination atleast.

For payroll you can send the data to the third part software through various means.

Have other question, so definitely we have to have atleast do hiring and termination in SAP. Is it not possible to have all the actions to be done in 3rd party software?

And to wat level we need to to configure the HR module?

Yes hiring and termintation is necessary.

all the other actions can be performed in 3rd party. However if any action would affect time management module then that needs to be replicated.

For e.g. if a person is getting promoted or location change as a result his employee grp changes then the same needs to be reflected because time managment will be affected as he will have separate working hours.

Such cases needs to be maintained in SAP as well.

You need to configure enterprise and personnel structure. Personnel administration where basic master data along with infotype 0,1,2,7 is essential.

If leave management system is implemented with the workflow then basic Organizational Management needs to be present. with org units and positions.

and yes time management for your requirement.

hi,

Employment status is essential.

Hiring is important to have a personnel no. for uniqueness of an employee and to maintain status active.

And termination is essential to change the status as inactive so that unnecessary processing of that employee does not take place if you have a payroll or a time evaluation run.
