How to view dependent requirements

I tried to archieve the materials for permanent deletion. I get the message

W4017 MARC: 010 000000000004400022 R003 reservation / dependent requirements exist

W4134 MARA: 010 000000000004400022 Dependent material master data still exists

How can i see the dependent material master data that exists. How can I see if all the dependent transactiosn for thsi material.

Hi,

Firstly have a look in the stock requirements list (MD04).

this will show all requiremens that are affecting the material.

As for the dependant master data, is the material split valuated? are you trying to archive a material that has some plant / storage location, sales org data that is not flagged as deleted?

Use the MM06 transaction to check to see if the delete flags are set for the whole material (client level will do this).

Thank you for the immediate reply.They are marked for deletion. The material is not split valuated. It is flagged for deletion at client level. I would like to see if there are any PO'S PR'S RESERVATIONS that exists for this material. If there are any i would like to see them and first delete them. Since i cant archieve the material with pending transactions.I tried to goto md04 it shows the stock requireemnt list. I dont know if there are any more PRs that exist for this material how can I see this. If a BOM exists for this mateial too. Iam new to SAP please let me know in more detail.

I get this log messge for a material how can i analyze it for if there are any PO's or PR's that exiost. Does it tmean that the reservations are the only dependencies . What does the dependendent storage location entires exists mean.

Hi,

MD04 shows ALL active POs, Preqs and reservations (if none are showing then there are none), if you have authorisation you can double click on any entry in the list and go to the change funtion and delete them.

You may need to do this for all plants that the material has been used in.

You can also have a look at MMBE for the material / plant and if you double click on the material you will see a list of ALL stocks, and the quantity of any of the item still on reservations, open POs etc.
