How to use the User Defaults

HI Experts,

I have set the Default warehouse by User Defaults and assigned to the related User ID.

but stil uses the Default Warehouse from Item Master i believe, it is not taking the User Default warehouse  .

WOnt the User Default override the Item master Defaults?

Hi Dwarakanath,

To achieve above, you need to create different item master.

For example   item A (FG)----W/H---01

                       Item A (Raw)----W/H---02

When user cretes sales order, the default ware house is 01 and purchase order, the default ware house is 02.

User default may not have higher priority than item. Is there any way you can change the logic?

OK.

My question is , I am setting Default Warehouse for Items. Now, Purshase Order is booked in Default w/h by users. When Sales Order is booked. the User have to change the W/h because Purchase and Sales are different warehouse..Between that the Inventory Transfer will be done.

So, I want to have W/h by user. so, when purchase team book PO , the w/h is WH01 by Default. and when Sales Order is booking , the w/h is WH02 by Default . This will increase automation and reduce user mistakes and cumbersome especially when the Documents are in approval flow.

How is solve this scenario ?

I am afraid you need FMS to achieve your goal.
