How to post timesheet entries to a different activity (WBS element) after initial time entry

Dear all,

my project member has posted his timesheets to the wrong activitiy (R&D project). Now I want to move the entries to the correct activity without deleting and re-entering of each time record.

What is the best way to move timesheet entries from one PSP element to another?

If you don't start the correction on the Timesheet you will lose the traceability and could impact reporting.

That being said there are manual methods to repost costs.  It also depends on what you are posting.  Just costs or confirmations too?  What objects are you charging?  What projects are you using, PS or PPM projects?

Just reposting costs is fairly simple with Internal Activity Allocation and posting from WBS to WBS.

I've learned that many times it's just easier to correct with the Timesheet app.
