How to move all stock to Quarantine or scrap if we have new revision

Here the business is using ECN and they do revision of materials. If they create a new revision with ECN for one material then the stock of the old revision is to be scrapped or moved to a quarantine storage location. Is there any easy way to do this in background in standard?

Example: I got an iPhone 15. Later I got a new iPhone 16. Now I would like to scrap or move the iphone 15 to quarantine to do rework and convert it to iPhone 16.

Also is there any ongoing production order going on for iPhone 15, I have to hold it and make the change then and there itself.

If the material is batch-managed update the revision in material batch. Then use user groups in the BMBC report and some customization to move all the stock to respective storage location.
