How to make height on the HU mandatory

Dear expert. Do you know is there a way to make the height of each HU to be mandatory in VL01N, or VL02N transaction, when packing the material? The field name is HOEHE.

Hi,

Create a Screen Variant and then assign it to the user,...

Go to Txn. SHD0.... Click on Screen Variants Tab... Enter the Transactio Code "VL02N"... then maintain the following value

Screen Variant: Maintain Value

Program: SAPLV51G

Screen: 6020.

Then click on the "Create(f5)" icon.. it will open vl02N txn. enter any outbound delivery number.. then click on packing icon, then go to the "Pack HU's" tab then click on save... Now system will popup with a screen there you search for Height field and then flag "Required".. this will make this field as mandatory.

After creation of the screen variant assign the user name to it under Standard Variants tab.

Thanks for your reply. But it is hard for us to assign it to each user. It looks like there is no configuration option to set a field in packing as mandatory.
