How to download SAP PS report to excel S_ALR_87013558

Hi,

I have already tried the Select classical Drilldown option to export a PS report to excel using the steps

Click On Export--> On the Export to presentation Screen Give Output File Path ( You give this as .dat File )

But the output is a very ugly looking raw text format in excel.

The other option is to export to HTML option , but this requires users to convert HTML to excel which is a roundabout complicated solution.

Is there a simple way for PS users to download their reports to excel that produces a better looking formatted file than the .DAT format?

Internal Order reports have built in Office Integration functionality that provides a very nice excel format download… Is there anyway PS can be downloaded in a similar fashion?

I dont get the same options as you when I try to download from Spool (see below)

I wonder why your download options are different? Are you on S4/Hana? Could you share what the excel download file looks like?
