How to develop link Sales Order to Production Order in SAP ByDesign.

Dear Experts,

I have customer requirement about how to get link between Sales Order and Production Order.

Ex- Sales Order numbers - 100, 1001, 1002

Customer need to know about Production order no 200 belongs to which Sales Order number.

Is it possible to develop a solution by SDK.

You can use the Product Specification id based on which you can capture the sales order number and also track the same in the production order as well. Note: You need to activate the product specification in the material master level under the general data. Also while creating the order you need to add the specification ID in the item tab. Through this you will be able to track the material in which all production process it has been used based on SO number. Also there are some standard reports from where you can track the sales order based on this material specification.

Dear Experts,

I used Process Extension Scenario to Sales Order for pass the sales order number to production order BO.

But I didn't find the scenario as Sales Order to Production Proposal or Production Order.

Please advice for create link between Salas Order and Production Order.
