How to delete Dependent Requirement in MD04

Dear All

Dependent requirement created for subitem need to be deleted in MD04 for changing the Base unit of measure but when I goto change mode in MD04 , system giving an Error "Selected function cannot be used for the element "Pls let me know how to delete this entry.

You cannot delete from MD04, click on pegged requirement & you will know which material is calling for it. Then you need to delete it from that.

I have got the main material which is calling this material from pegged reqmt but when I check MD04 of main material , nothing has been genarated (It is Blank ).How to trace the entire cycle of this depended requirement . Pls advice

Hi,

In MD04, click on the pegged requirement, you will know which material is calling for it. Now you need to open the production order / purchase order etc to delete the component if it is not required.

Or you can run MRP for the parent material via MD02 & specify the planning mode as 3. Check & revert if this resolves the problem.

When I goto to details of Dependent reqmt in MD04 , I can see

Planned order = NProc. I have only dependent reqmt Number . I donot have PO,Production Order numbers ,

I am running MFBF to produce main Item of this Subitem. Pls advice to delete Planned Order in this scenario

Hi,

Go to MD12, open the planned order & click on delete button. Once done, check in MD04, it should be ok.

you can not delete the dep reqirement .if you deleted it will again create order proposal since it is coming from the higher level. so you have to adjust from the header level only.

For the dep requirement the system will create planned order that can be deleted

Hi, same case happened for me but when see pegged requirement material, no requirement for that material and planned order as Nproc....please suggest any solution for this kind of issue how to delete /remove dependent requirement.
