Please note that in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, once an organizational unit or assignment is activated, the system does not allow for the physical deletion or un-assignment of these entities. This is a design feature intended to maintain data integrity.
As an alternative, we recommend updating the description of any unwanted organizational units or assignments to "DO NOT USE" to indicate they should no longer be utilized.
