Assuming that we have a equipment that will generate a PM work order at the end of the month (31). How would we delay or skip to the next month a scheduled Preventive Maintence work order on a piece of equipment if we had to do Corrective Maintenance on the equipment (today (5/27))?

Execute tcode IP10,enter the Maintenance Plan --> Under Scheduled Calls Tab --> select the item which you want to skip & click on the "Skip Call" left from 3rd button at the bottom of the screen.

Dear Jay,

If you have already generated preventive maint order and the same time you wish to do corrective maint on same equipment.

It is better to include corrective maintenance in preventive maint order which is already generated.

No need to create an extra corrective maint order, just open already generated preventive maint order, add extra operations if needed and execute it under preventive maintenace.

Check in IP10, Scheduled Calls tab.

If the Date Type/Status is already "Scheduled Called" then a work order has already been generated and you can not Skip the call - you have to cancel/close the work order (or set to Do Not Execute) - depending on you business process.

If the Date Type/Status is "Scheduled Hold" - click the Skip Call button (below the screen).
