How to create new business user in S/4HANA Cloud?

I want to create a new business user in my S/4HANA Cloud system.

I click the tile for Create New Business User and click "New" and there's no option to add someone.

Dear Customer,


In order to create Business Users, you first have to create Workers/Employees using the Manage Workforce app.

You can follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Manage Workforce app.
  2. Choose Create and fill in at least all mandatory fields (Last Name, Worker ID, Email).
    By default, Employee is selected as the Worker Type. This means a business partner in the role of an Employee (BUP003) is created. 
  3. Choose Create. An additional worker is create.
  4. Choose Maintain Business User.
    The Maintain Business Users app is opened. A business user is automatically created with the employee data that you've just entered. 
  5. In the User Data section, enter a User Name.
  6. (Optional) Enter additional User Data or change the Regional Settings.
  7. Choose Save.

To import more than one worker at a time, you can mass import worker data using a spreadsheet. For more information, refer to How to Mass Import Worker Data.
