Hi Nageswara Rao,

Here, PERK is nothing but non monetary benefit and this amount should be added to annual gross(If PERK exemption is not there), If you have any custom PERK no need to pay this amount to employee, that means no need to check add to total and Deduction WT in table V_T511, these two fields should be blank, and you need to check the cumulation class 27 and should not check cumulation classes 24 & 25 and write a small pcr which should be added to annual perk wage type (/127).

Kindly let me know If in case you need any further clarification.

What about COA?

Are we going to maintain 0008 and 0581 or not?

Condition: client having the own plat or accomdation?

Allowting to certain group.

If we maintain how and what are the amounts we are maintaining in 8 & 581.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi,

Company Owned accommodation is very from client to client. Some clients will give the HRA and some of the clients will not give the HRA, that is based on client.

Kindly go through the below links you will get more clarity on this.

Hi,

If you are going for COA or CLA calculation, both are perkable part based upon the data maintained in the IT8 & IT581.

Now at the time payroll run INHRA will do the calculation based upon SCOA & SCLA tax code for wage type of IT8.

Hi sir,

In case of COA, Client is not giving money to the Employees? So why we Need to maintain 8 & 581.

For Ex: -

If it is HRA---> In 0008- Maintaining Employee receiving amount.

In 581- Maintaining Rent paid by an Employee.

If it is CLA---> In 0008- Maintaining Employee eligibility amount.

In 581- Maintaining Rent paid by the client.

So like this what we are maintaining for COA?

Pls help me.

Thank you in advance...

Hi,

In this case, no need to maintain IT0008 why because your company is not giving any HRA to employee and you should maintain IT0581 with Company owned accommodation with out giving any amount. Based on that system will calculate the housing perk.

Here is the Housing Perk calculation rule:

If your employer provides you accommodation that is owned by it, the perquisite value of the house would be:

15% of salary (in cities that have a population exceeding 25 Lakhs as per the 2001 census)
OR
10% of salary (in cities that have a population between 10 Lakhs and 25 Lakhs as per the 2001 census)
OR
7.5% of salary (in all other places)

Less

The portion of the rent actually paid by you
