How to Change Currency in Controlling Area

Dear CO Expert,

I need to change the currency for respective Controlling Area (inactive but has assigned into productive Company Code).

What are the preconditions to change Controlling Area Currency? If it is possible to do it in Production system.

Hi,

Please check the currency type maintained in Controlling area & try changing the currency.

If the transaction data aleardy exist, the currency can not be changed. So confirm whether any transaction data is available in system for the controlling area in question.

Please try this in development system so as to confirm system behaviour.
