How to can we make a field mandatory in BP creation?

Dear community,

we are trying to make a field mandatory at the BP creation, in our case, the "Tax registration nr".

I've checked the configuration and the BADI "Validate BP BADI" (CMD_VALIDATE_BP) from Business Context "Business Partner Core view", but we haven't fullfilled our requirement yet,

Have anyone had the same requirement? Is there any workaround for this?

Hi João,

I checked the documentation of that BADI and it seems it's only for custom fields.

If it's a showstopper I would suggest an impediment creation for field status on customer/vendor master.

Also go to the influence portal and request the functionality.

It's not a showstopper, but it would avoid creating trash in the system.

Maybe we will request that functionality at the influence portal.
