How to block quantity changes in the production order

Former Member

Dear experts,

I have a scenario where the user needs to release production order, but he is not allowed to change quantities and dates of the orders.

To avoid it, I have tried to use authorization objects, but was possible to define just the activity "change" and not "release".

Do you have any suggestion?

Is there any authorization object to do it?

Thanks in advance,

Marcos

Marcos,

Why don't you try with Screen variant in SHD0 to control changes done to Order quantities and Dates. Please search in this forum you might be getting detailed help.

Hi Marcos

You can use BAdI WORKORDER_UPDATE to implement your own check for the changes on the order. Method AT_SAVE can be used to make a check and trigger an error message in case of changes.

CO05n is also a transaction for Production order release. Check if you can disable the change order function from it by controlling the authorizations.

Hi Marcos,

There are two possibilities.

1. Create screen variant

2. Through user exit

Dear PP friends,

Thanks for your replies.

I will try these options.

Another possbility is to use the t-code CO05N (Collective release).
