How to avoid dependence of Addon and .NET?

I´ve developed an Addon for SBO with Visual Studio 2003 and so, I used the .NET Framework. Now i don´t want that every client has to install the .NET Framework on his computer. is there a way to avoid the use of .NET? or am I able to just add the used .NET libraries into the addon package? i guess, not!?!

Hi Nico,

you might consider using vb6 or c++ instead.

However, I guess that most clients are likely to install the .net framework sooner or later anyway.

And why revert to older technique if you can be state of the art?

visual studio 2003 has a built in setup project that you can use to make a distribution of your plugin, and you have the option of building the .net ditribution into that setup program. also the plugin architecture is not depenedant on .net you can develop in vb or c++ if you like, and then you don't need .net at all

You will need to have the .net framework installed on the client machine. In most cases, it is probably on there already. But, you will need to check during your install package.
