How to auto create Invididual QM order for inspection lot?

Hi QM Guru,

We need to auto create QM individual order upon inspection lot creation, e.g. inspection type 01, after GR for PO is done, an inspection lot is created and QM order is also created simulteneously .

From Order type help in inpsection type config, it is feasible.

What have been done:

1. Masterial QM view: Inspection type 01- individual QM order ticked

2. Inspection plan created (Control key QM04 with cost anc work center with activity type and cost center for confirmation)

3. PO created with account assignment of cost center

4. GR for PO

5. Inspection lot created but NO QM Order created.

I saw some thread here and tried to do UD, still no QM order afterwards.

Please kindly let me know where I am missing or wrong.

Hi Sally

You need to create the QM Order in T-Code QK01 where you select 1) where the QM order should be settled, and 2) the material and inspection type from which the cost should be collected.

Hi All,

I got this answered accidentally.

In Material master, tick individual. Insp type 04, specify QL02 order whiich should have been configured with costing variant and settlement rule etc.

In insp plan, use QM04 control key with work center which got formula and activity type for confirmation.

After FG is received, 04 insp lot is generated. During Result recording, a confirmation pops up.

Then in UD, we can see the auto QM order with settlement rule on PP order.

What I am after is QM order auto creation along with inspection lot.

Pls kindly share any experience.
