How to assign multiple maintenance plant to single olanning plant.

Hi gurus,

I have to assign multiple maintenance plant to single planning plant.

How can I do this step by step. and what is the importance of planning plant.

Go to transaction SPRO and follow this menu path:

- Enterprise Structure

-- Assignment

--- Plant Maintenance

---- Assign maintenance planning plant to maintenance plant

SPRO-Enterprise Structure-Assignment-Plant Maintenance-Assign maintenance planning plant to maintenance plant

Maintenance Planning Plant which is responsible for Planning of Maintenance tasks, this contains work centers, Maintenance planner groups etc…

now I have to define multiple maintenance plant so where I should define this. is it in

1. define planning plant

2. plant

or first I have to define 4 planning plant and then assign 1 planning plant to all the plant.
