How to add Warehouse set up by DTW

Hello,

I have to add all warhouses in warehouse set up by DTW, but I dont know which template to use?

I am trying by OITW but it doesnt help me out, can anyone tell me please?

Hi Rahul........

You want to import Warehouse or Warehouse in Item Master Data?

If only warehouse then you have to use OWHS Template.

And if you want to add warehouses in Item Master Data then use OITW template along with OITM Template.......

my location for all warehouse is central location, my template is as follows.

WarehouseCode	WarehouseName	Location
WhsCode	WhsName	Location
S1-1	S1-1	Central Store
S1-2	S1-2	Central Store

i am uploading it by DTW but not getting uploaded,

also, i tried to upload by giveing the line number , i checked line number for central store location it is 17

but it is not getting uploaded, plz help

Hi Rahul

You should Use the Location Code not the Location Name..

Check have you defined any Excise for the Location. if you you should the excise value on the DTW...

Hello Rahul,

   I think you need to use OWHS template in DTW instead of using OITW for add all warhouses in warehouse set up by DTW for items.

Functionality Description

Solution

When you add or update the warehouse info via DTW, you need to set the LineNum value in ItemWarehouseInfo by warehouse list in Item Master Data, and the LineNum value will be as warehouse list No. minus 1.
For example, if warehouse list for the item is:
1 01
2 02

then the LineNum is 0 for warehouse 01 and 1 for warehouse 02 when you update the warehouse and the LineNum need to be set to 2 when adding a new warehouse for the item.

SAP Business One, Data Transfer Workbench, DTW, DI API, SDK, warehouse, item, Add, Update

Make Sure all the accounts have been give in the upload file...

I know this regarding line num, but my question is , is the OITW template is correct to upload warhouse set up with DTW, or I have to use other template?

I think you should use OWHS template

go to template folder

go to administration> set up > inventory > warehouse

It is OWHS template . You can find it in DTW installed Directory.

For Warehouse master you should use the OWHS

Data Transfer Workbench\Templates\Templates\Administration\Setup\Inventory\Warehouses..
