How to add a new item and rename it in Purchase orders? How and when can a new product can be added in a Purchase order?

If the Status of the PO is Finished, new items cannot be added. 

New item can be added only when the status of the PO is in - In preparation, Sent, Follow up document created. New item can be added as below :

1. Open the Purchase order 
2. Navigate to Items tab 
3. Click on Add Row 
4. Enter the product ID , the description will be auto filled based on the data maintained in the product master data of the product ID. Product description cannot be modified or entered manually at the time of creation of purchase order.
