Hi Pravin,

Owen is right, that B1 9.0 does not expose any objects of the Workflow via DI. This was out of scope as SAP wanted to provide a simple "Workflow" functionality for Consultants. - But so far without the ability to enhance programmatically or leverage in an add-on.

In the future DI Access might be added, but I would not expect it in 9.0.

Hi Pravin,

That's an interesting question but I don't think it's currently possible to manipulate the workflow functionality from the DI API. Hopefully that will come later or they'll build the ability to use a scripting language in to the B1 Studio. At the moment, the Workflow looks too primitive to be useful as it lacks important features. In particular, participants in the workflow are defined by user id which is very inflexible. If we were able to reroute workflow tasks in realtime based on different parameters (eg who is currently logged in or who has the least workload) then it would be great.

Kind Regards,

Owen
