Main asset is usually 123456 0

Sub assets are 123456 1

                        123456 2

and so on.

Thanks Dear for the update.

He should have given a meaningful heading. If he asks the question like "how can we know that this is a main asset", everybody will be confused. The questions are to be raised on this forum are for real business related issues. If the questions are asked like interview questions, then the real essence of this forum would be defeated. In fact, we should never encourage such questions.

Dear Nanda,

Please go to OAOA - See what number ranges. By number ranges, you should be able to identify which is AUC asset and which is a normal asset.

Before posting a question on this forum, please try yourself, search on SDN. You are kindly advised not to post basic questions on SDN.

Many Thanks,

Dear Yaduveer,

You are right that he is asking about the Asset and AUC Asset, but this is not a valid reason to post a thread for showing mistake as you did.

Dear Nandha,

Usually asset class are created separately for Main asset and AUC. With Asset class you can identify it.

Please also check Table: ANLA  -           XOPVW     (Field)                      Line item settlement,

This will let you know the difference. In case of AUC this field will have X value.

Hi Dayanandha,

You can key the asset number in the Transaction AS03 and see which asset class it has been created under. Through this you would be able to assess whether it is an AUC or a main asset.

Yes Muru said right...! check asset class parameters of desired asset, as asset class defines whether a assets under it as AUC or normal assets.
