How can I auto close the MM & FI Period in SAP Hana 1709?

We have a requirement that at the end of every month we need to close the MM & FI period with some scheduler but the same period should be open for the specific users (i.e. Finance & Accounts team members) which again to be closed on 8th of every month.

Is there any default configuration available in SAP?

Hello @0018280030 

MM period can be closed with the MMPV transaction. It can be scheduled as a monthly background job to close periods automatically. 

If you still need to post to a closed (previous) period, you can enable that with MMRV. However that can not be user dependent, i.e. a period is either closed or not, posting to the previous period is either allowed or not. That can't be limited based on user ids.

I would like to know that the auto scheduler is a part of any configuration? From where we can set the scheduler?

Transaction MMPV runs the RMMMPERI report. You need to schedule the report as a periodic background job.
