Hiding Park Button on FV60 Screen (Initial Screen and Document Overview Screen)

Hi SAP Experts

Hope you are doing well.

Problem

I have a requirement where i need to Hide "Park" Button on FV60 Screen. I have been able to hide the Park Button on first screen of FV60 using Transaction variant, however after we simulate, park button reappears on document overview screen. Have read similar threads and haven't found any explanation to  why transaction variant does not deactivate menu functions on simulation screen.

Now one solution to this problem that i have found is to check option Document Overview as ALV Grid Control in T-Code FB00(Document Editing Options) and transaction variant  works fine for both  pre-simulation and post-simulation screens. But since FB00 is user wise setting , it is practically not feasible to maintain such settings for all users in Production Server

I am looking for a comprehensive solution. Please suggest.

Regards

Saurabh

Hi,

You can use BTE 1140 to disable park button. Search SCN or look at OSS note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2157640/E, for example.

Hi,

While doing SHDO Variant Creation , in the confirm screen entries dialog press Menu Functions button and in the dialog expand Function setting tree and select BU (POST) and press Deactivate button (or F2 key) then select PBBP(Save as completed) and press F2 again.

Now save the variant and activate it.

Now check the tcode, those two buttons will be hidden.

Hi Sanju

In my case, I have to deactivate Park Button only.   I have created the variant using similar steps as you mentioned for deactivating Park Button. However, Park Button reappears on Document Overview Screen (screen after simulation ).

Park Button is deactivated at following screens

1.   Program - SAPMF05A , GUI Status - UBN_PP(Document Overview Screen)

2.   Program - SAPMF05A , GUI Status - ENJINVPP(Initial Screen)
