GR Reversal \ QM Problem

Dear ALL,

I am getting this message "Change the inspection stock of material X in QM only"while doing MVT 322.

My stock is in un-resticted stock,i want to transfer this stock to Quality stock & from there i want to do GR reversal.

Please guide me what will be the steps.

HI.,

THIS IS A SIMPLE PROBLEM.

FOR THE MATERIAL IN THE MATERIAL DOCUMENT ,QM IS ACTIVATED .THATS WHY THE MESSAGE IS.

U HAVE TO FIRST REJECT THE MATERIAL FROM QUALITY BY USAGE DECISION.PASS THE MATERIAL TO BLOCKED STOCK

THEN U DO REVERSAL OF MATERIAL DOCUMENT ,GIVING STOCK TYPE "BLOCKED"

IT WILL DEFINITELY SOLVE UR PROBLEM.

Hi , you have two options: 1. Cancel the GR document number, Deactivate the inspection type 01 from MM, change the stock type in PO and re post the GR directly to UR use. 2. Follow the QM cycle of material release. - Assign the Task list to the inspection lot (QA02), if the task list is not created, you will have to create it through (QP01/QS61) - Perform RR (you can skip this step) - Perform UD and stock posting (QA11) Pls revert if there is any query. check the matrrial master, in QM view u have 08 option

Hi,

It is not possible to transfer stock manually to Quality from Un-restricted if QM is active for the material.

First add Inspection Type 08 (Stock transfer inspection) in the material master QM view and then do transfer posting from s loc to sloc in the same storage location using movement type 311, it will generate QM lot and post stock to quality.

Hi Pankaj,

I am getting following error while reverseing G.R.,my stock is now in Quality stock.

You cannot cancel GR, since inspection lot is already partly posted

Diagnosis

You are attempting to reverse a goods receipt although quantity postings have already been made from the inspection lot. This means that stock for the goods receipt has already been transferred and, for this reason, a cancelation of the document is no longer possible.

Procedure

Ensure that the postings in QM (within the usage decision transactions) are carried out.

Please tell me now what i have to do.

First make the stock posting using QA32 ,then try to reverse the PO with 102 movement type .
