GR before PGI date

Hi SAP Guru's,

My problem is in STO scenario,Assume PGI at 28/02/2007 in sending plant but in recieving plant they are allready recieve the material at 20/02/2007 (GR before PGI date)

Is there any message type to restrict this type of problems.

Pls any body suggest me.Its urgent.

Try MB_DOCUMENT_BADI to incorporate a check.

Hi Ramki,

Standard procedure is First PGI and then GR,Why SAP not given this as a standard,and also in normal purchses PO Created today But you can Recive the material yestuarday,I know SAP given Delivery date is Control for POsting Date,But this one does't work out when Company is in Back log entry.

I Configure 275 and 874 but there is no use for this message.and another thing In IMG Message settings the First column is Version, is there any Settings in Version also.especially this problem.

Hi Ramakrishna,

Actually we are recieving the goods with respect to Delievery number,But How can system recieve the goods,Beacause PGI is today i.e Stock in transit,and Goods reciept yestaurday.We are working on Back log.

Stock Transfer between Company Codes,in sending plant PGI at 28/02/2007 and Goods reciept in recieving plant at 20/02/2007 meance GR before PGI date.

Can you pl check if there was any Stock-in-transit ?

You can receive, if there is stock-in-transit...system does not check stock-in-transit by PO.
