Functionality of MM

Hi Guys,

I am part SAP Migration project. as i am a technical consultant i am totally unaware of functional side. any one provide me with some basic functionality of MM. and what kind of things it deals with. what are the terms generally used in MM Frequently. thanks in advance.

Apart from this there are lot of tables which begin with 'M'& 'E', but we
