How to create free of cost PO.

and how the material could be created.

hi,

there are 2 option.

1. create the non valuated material by UNBw material type.

when u create GR for the same, auto matically free indiactor will get active

2. For better valuation control, extend the material by creating the new valuation type may b by FOC(free of cost) and post all the that material code

this is as explained by all activating the Free indicator in PO line item.

click in free column in item overview, as u make a free P.Order , & when it's goods reciept is done no financial accounting doc will be generated . as per material is concerned do not give any price in accouting view , or give zero price .

Dear Deepa,

When you create PO for this item , In item overview tick in a box of Free which will create PO for free goods.

Material can be created in normal way - under MMO1.

Please note that you can put price in Material master as you do in normal case.

But when you create PO with tick free with this material ,PO with free of cost will be created.

Hi deepa,

u have to create a normal PO with mark as free

if applicable enter the delivery cost for that item,

in GR receive with mvt 511,

in MIRO with ref to PO,

pay the delivery costs,

if the materiai valuated at MAP , the value is decrease,

if it is at S ( standard price ), stock value is not effected,

In PO item overview mark Free tick,

or

Invoice receipt---untick in items details..

material can de created through mm01 tcode
