free check box in PO

Hi,

While creating PO, when i am entering plant, then only free check box is gettiing checked automatically.

How?

But u can control thro' field selection group.

Hi

Please check the Invoice tab at item level, Inv. Receipt chk box. If the indicator is not set, the goods are to be delivered free of charge.

Similarly, alos chek the GR-bsd IV the indicator also will be off.

You activate the indicators and put price for the material, you problem should be solved.

My question is why it is coming for this plant only??

Hello Uts,

If I understand well your question is "why free field is set automatically" !!!

The 'Free Items' indicator in the overview is only used to facilitate the switching off of the Inv.Receipt flag and the GR-based IV flag. ( Note that the 'Free Items' indicator is not stored on the PO item table EKPO).

The Inv.Receipt flag (and the GR-based IV flag) are the fields thatreally controls if an item is 'free' or not, so, you have to check if these fields are cehcked or not.

It is the default setting. when you went to ME21N it shows the filed in disable mode. When you enter some data in item over view section then only it becomes editable.

go to MM> purchasing>purchase order --> filed selection at document level and change the setting
