What is mean by set up formula and processing formula in work centre? How and where they get used?

Set up formula is the formula used to calculate the time to set up a w/c before the actual production starts.

Processsing time is the time required to produce the material (which mainly depends on the qty produced).

you should go through tcodes op7b(to create new parameter) and op21( to create new formula)

Formulas are used for the following pupose

Calculation of execution time

Calculation of capacity requirements

Calculation of costs of a work center's activity type.
