Flexible workflow from maintenance order purchase requisition

dear experts,

we implemented a process for purchasing of components in maintenance order. Purchase requisition is triggered at maintenance order release. The Flexible workflow is activated at item level for PR, and it works for all the component manually updated before the release of the order.

But, if a component is added after the release,the PR does not trigger the event for the FWF.

The event manually raised by SWUE works.

Please advice.

We are creating a purchase requisition from a PM work order, the flexible workflow is not finding the approver.

Would there be any specific settings in PM SPRO to allow for a flexible workflow? Must the maintenance order be filled out?

Hello,

Please have a look at the following SAP Note:

3041509 - Restart of PR flexible workflow (changed from external source) is not triggered

The note refers to "purchase requisition" changes (and not to "purchase requisition item" changes), therefore it seems to address your issue.

If you are already on S4CORE 105, I think you should open a call to SAP Support.
